Dr. Todd Pitts is board-certified and fellowship-trained in orthopedic surgery specializing in primary and revision of hip, knee, hand, and shoulder reconstructions.

Dr. Pitts, an orthopaedic surgeon brings hip and knee joint restoration and replacement experience back home to Utah.  He treats patients suffering from arthritis, bone damage, and a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders.  After graduation from the University of Utah, he served and trained throughout the country and ran his practice for over 5 years.  Dr. Pitts joined Summit Brain, Spine, & Orthopedics in Lehi, Payson, and Provo in the Summer of 2021.  He brings the specialization of hip, knee, hand, and shoulder joint care and surgery to one of the leading orthopedic and neurosurgery practices in the Intermountain region.

 

After completing a 5-year general Orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas, San Antonio, Dr Pitts completed a one-year fellowship program at the Core Institute. The training by world-renowned surgeons focused on hips, knees, and shoulders surgeries as well as robotic-assisted surgeries. This allowed Dr. Pitts to receive advanced training in innovative techniques by experts in the field. In addition, he gained multifaceted experience ranging from simple primary surgeries to complex revisions. Dr. Pitt’s surgical training & experience include adult reconstruction due to failed joint prosthetics, infections, and unsuccessful initial surgeries by a previous surgeon. Fellowship training focused on specific procedures and mastering techniques necessary to maximize successful patient outcomes.
