Hip Arthroscopy

Hip Arthroscopy

Dr. Pitts performs arthroscopy on the hip to repair and preserve the labrum and hip bone, sacrum, and coccyx.  This surgical approach uses small incisions in which a camera in tandem with arthroscopy surgical tools diagnoses and performs the procedure. Dr. Pitts views the hip on a monitor and performs surgery with minimal displacement of surrounding bones, muscles, and tendons.  Advantages of this approach include decreased recovery time, pain, and risk.
